A Triad game is started with a “Bounce” (similar to Australian Rules). A nominated player from each team stands at positions ‘1’ and ‘2’, the "XO", at position ‘3’ (see Arena diagram). The whistle blows and the "XO" bounces the ball in the ‘T’ , the two opposing players compete for possession of the ball once it has bounced off the ground.
