A “Time Out” may be called by a player if a stoppage in play is needed. If the stoppage is for an injury any player can make the call and the game (and the clock) will be stopped immediately. A player may also call “Time Out” for a non injury related stoppage but the game will not be stopped until the ball is dead. The XO’s may call “Time Out” at any time and the game will be stopped immediately.
