Hi all,

I'm Starbuck of The Vipers, a new team entering the Squadron League in 2010.

In my spare time, I like to catch up with friends and keep fit. Sportswise, I come from a varied competitive and recreational background, including athletics, laserforce, badminton, touch football, kung fu, snowboarding and bodyboarding. I also play video games, with some of my favourites being online First Person Shooters, which rely heavily on teamwork, situational awareness and a quick reaction time. For work, I produce video games, which further sustains my need to always be a part of great teams that can achieve great things.

I love Triad because it's so different to any sport I've played before. The fast pace and grittiness is addictive and at the competitive level, it really draws you in. There are times when you play Triad and experience great moments of elation, whether it be the perfect pass, the perfect goal, or the perfect play. And with every match, you're always learning something new about it and it's vast untapped potential. What's more is that you're experiencing it all with a bunch of great, passionate people, who love the game as much as you.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing Triad bring in new players who want to have a fun and alternative sporting experience. I'm also keen on seeing Triad's gameplay progress into a professional sport for people everywhere to enjoy.

So get onboard and come and give Triad a go Smile So say we all.

Howdy,

I'm Dubya, I'm on the Player Roster for the Buccaneers this season.

I first played Triad in November 2008, I got roped into a game and have been involved ever since. I played a lot of sports growing up, Rugby League, Cricket and Athletics but haven't played sports in the last 5 years or so till I found Triad. Its a great game that's unique and able to be played by everyone. There is a great bunch of people involved who are passionate about the game and I look forward to getting together to play.

So the new year bring changes with the Squadron League and Rec League, New Teams, New Websites and Forums. It's a great time to be involved. Everyone have a Merry Christmas and see you in the New Year for the Year of Triad.

Update 17-01-10 Traded to the Jokers.

Hi One and all....some of you know me as Theresa. In the league, I am T and a very proud Heroes member although I don't always take myself seriously in the game!!

I am not one of the fittest members of our league by a long shot, but I am very passionate about Triad.

So, you ask how I got into this game in the first place. Well, I started getting into fitness this year and was looking for a team sport to play. Bear in mind that I do not particularly like most sports. Will give most things a go, but only ever really liked netball and basketball during my teens and early 20s. My housemate and friend suggest that I give Triad a go and went to my first game at the beginning of May 2010...that was all it took. I was hooked. I don't think I have missed a Sunday since I started playing.

One of my main passions is television - predominantly scifi - and what more could I ask for in a sport than to be playing a game created from one of my favourite scifi shows ever!!!

With the Squadron League and Rec Leagues coming into play in 2010, I am excited with the direction that Triad is taking and am looking forward to our game growing bigger.

To anyone interested, or just curious, come along and have a play. You might be surprised at just how much fun is and how challenging it can be. We would love to see you there!!!

Oh yeah and btw....HEROES RULE!!!
